Risa Farber
I have been teaching at Chet F. Harritt since 1997. I have taught Kindergarten-Fourth grade and served as our Reading Specialist for 8 years. Reading is my favorite subject to teach and something that I do every day! I have one child who is currently serving in the US Navy as a submariner.
When I'm not teaching, the outdoors is my happy place! Most afternoons you can find me hiking on the trails behind our school. I also enjoy bike riding at our local beaches.
I look forward to sharing my love of hiking with your children throughout the school year!
