Risa Farber
I have been teaching at Chet F. Harritt since 1997. I have taught Kindergarten-Fourth grade and served as our Reading Specialist for 8 years. Reading is my favorite subject to teach and something that I do every day!
I have one son, Wylen, who attends UC Davis. His name comes from my love of the ocean and the paintings created by the ocean-artist WYLAND. If he's not playing his tuba or bass, then you can find us walking or riding bikes along the beach.
When I'm not teaching, hiking is something else that fills my days. Most Friday afternoons you can find me on the trails behind our school, with a group of our Chet teachers!
