Hello!
I want to officially welcome you and your student to the 2022/23 school year! My name is Jillian Feightner, and I will be your child’s 7th grade history and elective teacher this year! Last year I had the privilege of teaching most of you in 6th grade and am thrilled to be working with many of you again this year as I moved up to 7th grade. I’d like to share a little bit about myself! I was born and raised in California and spent majority of my childhood growing up in Temecula until I moved to San Diego about 11 years ago. I have a Bachelor’s degree in child and Adolescent Studies from California State University, Fullerton and a Master’s in Education from the University of Redlands. Recently my husband and I welcomed our son Rhett to the world. We are loving spending time with him and watching him explore and learn!
I sincerely hope you were able to unwind over the summer and are ready to jump back into another amazing school year! I am here to support your student in any way I can to help them succeed this year. My hope is that we can work together as a team to provide your student with the necessary tools for success.
