Welcome! I am Katie Vick and I'm so excited to be continuing my path at Chet F. Harritt! This year promises to be a fun, exciting, and evolving school year. I will be working with your student in Science, History, P.E. and an Elective.
I have been teaching for 14 years now. My previous experience was at Cajon Park where I taught 4th and 5th grade. I am so excited to be joining Middle School and teaching 6th grade! I received my Bachelor's of Arts in Education followed by my Master's of Education in Differentiation from National University. I continue to take courses as learning, growing, and continuing my education is a passion of mine.
Although I'm new to Chet's campus as a teacher, it feels like it’s a coming home of sorts as my mom taught here for 30 years. I truly feel lucky to be here and work with you and your student! My number goal is to be your student’s biggest support system, and focus on how we can work together to help them accomplish their goals!
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our children Levi, Luke, Grace, and our Boston Terrier puppy, Sadie. Some of my favorite hobbies include traveling, reading, and I love cooking and trying new recipes.
